It also has an anime adaptation, which has gained popularity thanks to its range of characters with unique abilities that can let them manipulate persons and situations. When it comes to Danganronpa characters, the oldest character is Ruruka Ando, who is 23 years old. December is the most represented birth month with four characters – Junko Enoshima, Mukuro Ikusaba, Byakuya Togami, and Gundham Tanaka celebrating their birthdays during this period. The youngest characters at the moment are Junko Enoshima and Mukuro Ikusaba at 19 years old, celebrating their birthdays in December.
