‘Daredevil: Born Again’ Reportedly To Be a Two-Season Series

Daredevil Born Again Reading Order

‘Daredevil: Born Again’ has garnered significant attention as an upcoming MCU project, fueled by both fan excitement and production challenges. Issues such as the SAG-AFTRA strike and disagreements between showrunners and the studio have affected its development.

Several months ago, it was revealed that parts of the show would be scrapped, followed by the announcement of a new creative team. Dario Scardapane is set to lead as the showrunner, with Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead named as the co-directors.

Marvel plans to incorporate existing scenes and episodes into the upcoming series while adding new story elements. Scardapane will oversee the creation of these new episodes and scenes, seamlessly blending them with the existing footage. Benson and Moorhead will direct the remaining episodes of the first season. Although the exact episode count is uncertain, the initial plan was for 18 episodes. However, insiders and leaks suggest that the series may consist of 9 episodes, with a potential for a second part. However, according to Deadline, this may not be the case anymore, as ‘Born Again’ is now referred to as a two-season series. The same source also confirms that Ord and Corman will continue as executive producers for the two-season series.

At first, it was believed that the initial season would be divided into two parts of nine episodes each. However, it seems that the latter part has evolved into a separate second season. Marvel Studios postponed filming the second batch of episodes to gauge audience response to the first part. However, recent reports suggest that they will resume filming the next nine episodes shortly after completing the first set.
