The fourth season of the acclaimed superhero series Daredevil may not be a mere fans’ dream after all. The first three seasons of the series were made by Netflix between 2015 and 2018 before Disney took back the rights for the character. Four years after, the whole Daredevil series was moved from Netflix to Disney, and now the series can only be streamed on House of Mouse’s streaming platform Disney+.

Ever since the series was canceled back in 2018, the fans started numerous campaigns on social media to continue the series or bring Matt Murdock back in some other MCU project. That wish was partially granted when Kevin Feige confirmed that Charlie Cox will keep playing Daredevil in MCU, and Cox had a special cameo role in Spider-Man: No Way Home as Peter’s lawyer, which was one of the most popular fan theories before the movie was released.

How Does Matt Murdock/Daredevil See?

Since No Way Home’s release, the fans waited for more news about when and where we’re going to see Cox as Matt Murdock again. The newest report, coming from Production Weekly, says that Marvel Studios is developing a new project centered on Daredevil. The project is reportedly described as a reboot of the Daredevil series, which means this won’t really be a fourth season, but we will get Daredevil back, which is good enough. The project should be produced by Kevin Feige himself, and the series should be incorporated directly into the MCU.

We already know that Charlie Cox will eventually play Daredevil again, and we cannot wait for it. Cox recently said that he wouldn’t be against the PG-13 Daredevil project, but he believes that rated R Daredevil would work a lot better, and fans would definitely agree. We still need to wait to see if Marvel Studios and Disney will officially announce the project. If a new Daredevil project is in development behind Marvel’s walls, we will get the official news when the time is right.
