DC Titans Season 4: First Look at Lex Luthor and Release Window Revealed
The original HBOMax series Titans is one of the most popular TV shows based on the DC Comics that’s currently on the air. The third season last year after two years of hiatus, and we won’t need to wait for the fourth season that long.
Entertainment Weekly now reported that the fourth season of Titans will premiere on HBOMax this November, which is only 13 months since the third season concluded. The fourth season was announced at last year’s DC FanDome by the lead actor Brenton Thwaites, who plays the role of Dick Grayson/Nightwing.
DC Titans series follows the titular team of superheroes as they’re fighting crime and corruption in San Francisco, or in the third season’s case, Gotham. Team members are Nightwing, Starfire, Raven, Beast Boy, Wonder Girl, and others. Previous seasons featured some known villains from DC Comics, like Trigon, Deathstroke, Scarecrow, and Red Hood. In the next season, the viewers will finally meet Lex Luthor, whose appearance was teased in previous seasons, but now we’re finally getting him on-screen, played by Titus Welliver.
Titans showrunner Greg Walker described Welliver’s Lex Luthor with these words.
“He has a very sensitive, thoughtful approach to evil and power. You know what he’s done, what he’s capable of doing, except like many of those people, he’s personable. He doesn’t have a cat on his lap. Yeah. He’s curious, which I think is very interesting about his character. He wants to know about people and what makes them tick, and how they’re different from him. He sees the world through the lens both of his own power and his own inadequacy, and tries to compensate for both.” — Greg Walker for Entertainment Weekly
