‘DC x Sonic the Hedgehog’ #2 Preview: The Justice League & Sonic vs. Darkseid

Among the many crossovers that we have, DC’s recent one with the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise is certainly one of the more interesting ones. Why? Well, at first glance, these two universes are tough to combine, but the authors have done it in a brilliant way and that is why this is such a great one!

The first issue came out recently and it set up the story for a major clash of the two universes, a clash that involves the most important players from both these universes.

Now, DC x Sonic the Hedgehog #2 is coming out – on April 16, 2025 – and in this report, we will provide you with a preview of the upcoming story!

The story comes from writer Ian Flynn, with art by Adam Bryce Thomas. It is set to feature a clash between Sonic’s world and Darkseid, one of DC’s most dangerous characters. Here is the official synopsis:

The Justice League has some startling new allies: Sonic the Hedgehog and his friends! Together, they fight the invading forces from Apokolips to save Sonic’s world from Darkseid’s devastating ambitions. But can even their combined might be enough to stop a New God? Who will make the ultimate sacrifice for the greater good? You won’t believe the cataclysmic finale!
