Deadpool 3: Rob Delaney Has An Idea How Could Peter Return
Do you remember Peter from Deadpool 2? Yeah, neither do we. Just kidding. We still remember that original, powerless guy who just saw the ad.
In the 2018 movie Deadpool 2, we remember how Ryan Reynolds’ former X-Men… trainee, tried to build up a super-duper superhero squad that’s tough, morally flexible, and young enough to carry their own franchise for 10 to 12 years. Yeah, Peter can definitely put a checkmark on all of that.
Okay, all jokes aside now. The original character named Peter, played by Rob Delaney, was one of the scene-stealers in Deadpool 2. We remember him as a member of Deadpool’s X-Force, who died almost immediately after the first landing, just like the rest of the group, except Deadpool and Domino.
Now, during the promotion of his latest film Home Sweet Home Alone, which premieres today on Disney+, Delaney was asked how is he imagining the potential return of Peter in Deadpool 3, which is currently in development by Marvel Studios.
“I know at the end of Deadpool 2 he asked if he can get Domino’s email address, so I think it might be funny to see him pursuing Domino quite earnestly, but with no skills at all to try and woo her. So that would be pretty funny and I think given a real challenge by Deadpool, if he really had to go take out a bad guy or something because say Deadpool had eaten some bad shrimp earlier. I think too see Peter and some genuine danger and also a little bit of romance, I think I’m just saying, you know what everybody else wants.”

The only thing that is known about Deadpool 3 so far is that it’s on the way, we just don’t know how far it is. President of Marvel Studios Kevin Feige revealed that Ryan Reynolds is overlooking the work on the script and he confirmed that Deadpool will keep its signature R rating. Zazie Beetz confirmed she would love to return as Domino more than anything. Ryan Reynolds recently announced he’s gonna take a little break from acting, so Deadpool 3 probably won’t begin production any time soon. We can only wait. X-Force!
