‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ Reportedly to Re-Visit One Notable MCU Location for the Majority of Movie
As the release date of ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ draws nearer, more rumors and insights about the movie’s development are emerging. While the plot remains largely unknown, it promises numerous variants, cameos, and humor. The trailer suggests the movie occurs after the events of ‘Deadpool 2’, where Wade’s efforts to revive Vanessa were temporarily successful.
Furthermore, it hints at major involvement from Mr. Paradox and the TVA, with Deadpool’s antics leading to his inclusion in the MCU’s Sacred Timeline.
CanWeGetSomeToast, a well-known leaker known for their reliability, disclosed on X the precise setting of the movie. According to them, 70-75% of the movie unfolds in the Void.
The Void serves as a destination at the end of time where the Time Variance Authority deposits pruned entities, where time’s progression halts, resulting in inhabitants’ lack of aging. Following the Multiversal War, He Who Remains tasked Alioth with safeguarding him within this realm. The Void comprises various realities pruned by the Time Variance Authority, forming a collection at the edge of time.
The Void was previously featured solely in the ‘Loki’ series, with Ravonna Renslayer last seen trapped there, facing potential death at the hands of Alioth, as hinted in the ‘Deadpool 3’ trailer.
The leaker also disclosed that the original concept for the movie involved its occurrence during the original X-Men trilogy. Recently, Karan Soni disclosed that the abandoned sequel was intended to be a Christmas-themed adventure, wherein Deadpool and his associates journeyed to the North Pole to rescue Christmas.
