Synopsis: James Knight is a detective in Los Angeles, whose partner gets critically wounded by gunshots during an armed robbery right before Halloween. The masked assailants run, but detective Knight goes Rogue to find them and bring justice to his partner.
Knight follows them from LA to New York, where we’re quick to learn that James has a dark past of his own. It comes right back to haunt him, making the hunt for the robbers that much harder.
2. Detective Knight: Redemption (2022)
Synopsis: Following the events of the first movie, James Knight is taken into custody in New York for his past run-ins with the law. While in jail, Knight gets caught in the middle of a big jailbreak, led and organized by a guy known as The Christmas Bomber.
The Christmas Bomber has an entire gang of followers, all dressed in Santa Claus outfits that wreak havoc on the town. Detective Knight is offered a chance at redemption: if he takes down the terrorist gang, along with The Christmas Bomber, he gets his badge – and honor – back. You better believe he’s coming at them with a vengeance and without any mercy.
3. Detective Knight: Independence (TBR in 2023)
Synopsis: Seeing that the movie hasn’t premiered yet, all we have to go on is the trailer, and the official IMDb synopsis for the movie, which is as follows:
“Detective James Knight’s last-minute assignment to the Independence Day shift turns into a race to stop an unbalanced ambulance EMT from imperiling the city’s festivities. The misguided vigilante, playing cop with a stolen gun and uniform, has a bank vault full of reasons to put on his own fireworks show… one that will strike dangerously close to Knight’s home.”
