Division 2 is loaded with amazing weapons for just about any scenario. But, when it comes to sniper rifles, there are a ton of factors to consider, and many people wonder what is considered the best sniper rifle in the game as a result.

The Nemesis Exotic Sniper Rifle is one of the most deadly weapons in Division 2 and is considered the most powerful sniper rifle overall. Players will need to obtain 4 pieces (scope, barrel, bolt, and stock) from weekly Invaded Stronghold missions as well as the blueprint to craft it.

Although the Nemesis Exotic Sniper Rifle is undeniably impressive, getting your hands on it can be a bit tricky in Division 2. Stick around to find out why the Nemesis Exotic Sniper Rifle is so powerful and how you can obtain it in-game.

Nemesis Exotic Sniper Rifle

The Nemesis Exotic Sniper Rifle is an absolutely deadly weapon that can be useful for taking on even the most lethal enemies in Division 2. While it is slower than many other weapons, it has a long-zoom scope and is intended for wiping out big enemies from greater distances.

Nemesis Exotic Sniper Rifle Perks

The Nemesis Exotic Sniper Rifle has 3 perks that are ideal for its primary uses, as they enhance its most notable qualities. This weapon’s 3 perks are as follows:

Counter-Sniper

The shots fired by the Nemesis Exotic Sniper Rifle will deal between 0 and 100% weapon damage, depending on how long the trigger is held down before the shot is released. The time it will take to reach the maximum damage output will be reduced each time a shot doesn’t kill an enemy that it hits.

Nemesis

Whenever a player aims at an enemy, the enemy will be marked as a nemesis for 15 seconds. This perk will allow the player to view the marked nemesis through walls for the duration, and shots will gain 5% additional damage to the enemy for each second they are marked – stacking up to a maximum of 50%.

Preparation

The Preparation perk is great for overall utility with the Nemesis Exotic Sniper Rifle. While the Nemesis Exotic Sniper Rifle is holstered, this perk will grant 25% headshot damage whenever enemies are scoped.

How To Get The Nemesis Exotic Sniper Rifle

Getting your hands on the Nemesis Exotic Sniper Rifle may be tricky for quite a few players – understandably so. That being said, this weapon is absolutely deadly, so it’s definitely worth the effort!

The Nemesis Exotic Sniper Rifle will need to be obtained in pieces through quests and objectives in Division 2. Players will then need to obtain the Nemesis blueprints after they’ve acquired all of the parts. The entire process can take approximately 3 weeks.

1. Piece 1: Scope

This section will possibly be the most time-consuming area if you’re starting off from scratch. Players will need to go through the weekly Invaded missions until they until the Tidal Basin Stronghold.

  1. From there, you will need to play through the mission until you reach a small courtyard, facing a “Dock 01” sign.
  2. Keep an eye out for barracks on the right and walk in.
  3. Head upstairs and locate the bunk beds on the far right.
  4. Pick up the keycard on the bottom bunk.
  5. Continue on until you reach the aircraft carrier before the main boss.
  6. Keep an eye out for a locked metal door to the left, secured by a keycard reader.
  7. Walk up to the door and unlock it.
  8. Grab the gun inside the weapon case.
  9. Locate the Adrestia SR1 inside your inventory and dismantle it.
  10. You will be rewarded with the first piece of the Nemesis Exotic Sniper Rifle (Scope: Tally)

2. Pieces 2, 3, and 4: Barrel, Bolt, & Stock

The following 3 pieces of the Nemesis Exotic Sniper Rifle will drop from the final bosses of the other 3 strongholds. However, players will only be able to take on an Invaded Stronghold in the week that it is invaded – which can be an issue for time’s sake.

Players will have to make sure they keep doing the weekly invited missions until all pieces of the Nemesis Exotic Sniper Rifle are obtained. You’ll need to clear the following Stronghold final boss in order to obtain the rest of the pieces:

  • Barrel (The Scourge): Capitol Hill Stronghold
  • Bolt (The Scales): Roosevelt Island Stronghold
  • Stock (The Bridle): District Union Arena Stronghold

Head over to the map and hover over the Stronghold. You can view the difficulty menu and check out the prompts list, and hold the difficulty menu button again to reset the Stronghold to Invaded status. From there, play through the objectives as per usual until you acquire each piece.

3. Nemesis Exotic Sniper Rifle Blueprint

Once you’ve gathered all 4 pieces of the Nemesis Exotic Sniper Rifle, it’s time to get your hands on the Nemesis Exotic Sniper Rifle Blueprint. The blueprint is only dropped by Pucky in the Grand Washington Hotel.

You might have to wait in order to do this, depending on the weekly mission. Replay the Grand Washington Hotel Invaded mission and kill Pucky as early as possible, since you will be able to leave after you obtain the blueprint.

Now that you have all 4 Nemesis Exotic Sniper Rifle pieces and the Nemesis Exotic Sniper Rifle Blueprint, all you’ll have to do is put the pieces together and assemble the final product! Head back to the White House in order to craft your Nemesis Exotic Sniper Rifle.
