Elden Ring Nightreign Nightfarers Revealed in Character Trailers

I’m thrilled to share the latest on ‘Elden Ring Nightreign’, a standalone multiplayer co-op action survival game hitting PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam on May 30. This new adventure from FromSoftware, published by Bandai Namco Entertainment, drops players into a brutal world where teamwork and strategy are key to survival. We finally got a peek at four of the game’s eight playable characters, called Nightfarers, through some gripping character trailers.

The game throws you into squads of three, or you can brave it solo, picking one of the eight Nightfarers, each with unique skills. The goal? Survive a three-day-and-night cycle filled with tough enemies, shifting biomes, and a shrinking circle of fire that forces you to keep moving. By the third day, you’ll face off against massive bosses called Nightlords, exclusive to this game. If you fall, don’t worry—defeated players earn relics to tweak and power up their Nightfarers for the next run.

Let’s talk about the four Nightfarers we’ve seen so far. The Recluse is a mage wielding ancient elemental magic, perfect for those who love casting devastating spells from the shadows.

Then there’s the Duchess, a stealthy assassin whose quick blade strikes before enemies even know she’s there.

The Raider stands tall in the heat of battle, fearless and ready to charge through waves of foes.

Lastly, the Ironeye is your go-to for precision, raining arrows with deadly accuracy. Each trailer shows off their distinct vibe and combat style, giving us a taste of the variety in playstyles.

What makes ‘Elden Ring Nightreign’ stand out is its focus on co-op. Nightfarers need to combine their abilities to tackle the game’s challenges, like dodging shifting environments or taking down those terrifying Nightlords.

With FromSoftware’s track record of crafting deep, challenging worlds, this game looks like it’ll deliver the same dark, immersive magic we love from the ‘Elden Ring’ universe, but with a fresh multiplayer twist. Keep an eye out for more updates as we get closer to launch.
