A few weeks ago news broke that Nolan’s mysterious upcoming project is an adaptation of ‘The Odyssey.’ Universal Pictures announced that Christopher Nolan’s next movie is a global action epic based on Homer’s ‘The Odyssey.’ It will use new IMAX technology and hit theaters on July 17, 2026.

The movie already has a star-studded cast, including Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, Zendaya, Lupita Nyong’o, Robert Pattinson, and Charlize Theron. Production is expected to begin in early 2025, with Nolan writing and producing alongside Emma Thomas under their Syncopy banner.

Homer’s ‘The Odyssey’ is one of the oldest stories still read today. It tells the tale of the Greek hero Odysseus and his challenging journey home after the Trojan War.

Now industry insider Daniel Richtman shared some news regarding the production of the movie. Elliot Page has reportedly joined the cast of Christopher Nolan’s upcoming film, ‘The Odyssey.’ This would mark a reunion between the two, as Page previously worked with Nolan on ‘Inception’ (2010).

Additionally, there is speculation that Page is being considered for another role in Nolan’s next big project after ‘The Odyssey.’ However, there is no official confirmation yet, so fans will have to wait for further details.

Page is currently working on a new project with his Pageboy production, an adaptation of ‘Beyond: Two Souls’ video game. The TV series adaptation is still in early development and will focus on Jodie’s journey from being a government experiment to a fugitive, exploring her powers and connection to Aiden.

Elliot Page, who starred in the game, said filming was a challenging but rewarding experience. He believes the story’s emotional depth provides a strong base for the show. The goal is to create a unique vision that appeals to both fans and new viewers.
