For many older viewers, Jennifer Garner’s portrayal of Elektra holds a special place in their hearts, despite the flaws of her standalone movie. However, when Netflix produced Marvel shows, Elodie Yung won fans over with her portrayal of the youthful assassin and Daredevil’s love interest.

Now it’s confirmed that Garner will return as Elektra in the upcoming ‘Daredevil & Wolverine.’ With ‘Echo’ incorporating elements from the ‘Defenders’ storyline, fans are hopeful for Yung’s return as Elektra in the MCU. Yung herself acknowledged the constant inquiries about the role in an interview with toofab.

Oh my god, I would love that! My fans are like “Can you come back?” I’m like, ask Mr. Marvel. You have to ask Mr. Marvel… I would gladly replay this part, are you kidding? She’s so much fun!

Yung was also questioned about who she believed would win in a fight between her Elektra and Garner’s Elektra:

What’s that mean come out on top? I had something else in mind. I mean she has skills that I probably don’t have and currently I’m not really fit and trained and you know if she’s replayed the part already she probably went to through training sesions so she probably would. But I love her and that would be so much fun two Elektras.

I have to say, it seems like something that might happen in ‘Deadpool & Wolverine,’ especially considering the various versions of characters set to appear in the movie. Even if Yung doesn’t return as Elektra, she’ll definitely stay busy.

Élodie Yung began her acting journey on TV at the age of 20. She made waves with roles like Tsu in the 2004 film ‘Les fils du vent’ and Tao in ‘District 13: Ultimatum.’ Yung also starred in the hit TV series ‘Les Bleus’ for three seasons. She’s been featured in films such as ‘The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo’ (2011), ‘G.I. Joe: Retaliation’ (2013), and ‘Gods of Egypt’ (2016) as Hathor. In ‘The Hitman’s Bodyguard’ (2016), she shared the screen with Ryan Reynolds and Samuel L. Jackson. Recent projects include ‘Secret Society of Second-Born Royals’ (2020) on Disney+ and the Fox crime drama series ‘The Cleaning Lady’ (2022).
