Lisbeth was investigating the history of a lady name Faria, who was a Bangladeshi prisoner in Flodberga. Faria was being tortured by a gang head, Benito. Lisbeth can’t stop herself and get into the matter. And so, become a target for the Benito and gang. Amidst this, one of Lisbeth’s guardians informed her about the secrecy of an experiment called Registry. 

The Registry had made Lisbeth their subject while she was in prison. Mikael has shown up to rescue Lisbeth from any harm. However, Mikael’s search for the past life of Lisbeth was unfathomable. Mikael searched for Lisbeth. But, Lisbeth has gone dark so that no one can found her. Later, Lisbeth confronted her twin sister – the primal enemy to Lisbeth. Later, Lisbeth was again joined by Mikael, who was with her while facing one of the greatest battles in her life. And so, finally, her past rest in peace.

Spoiler Alert: The hidden legacy of the Henrik Vanger Family was the climax of the movie. As both the partners, Lisbeth and Blomkvist, were threatened for their life because they have unleashed that Vanger legacy has the blood in their hands, as they were involved in torture, rape, murder, incest, and Nazism.

The saddest part throughout the movie is the torture, brutality, and injuries she has survived through. Noomi Rapace (Lisbeth Salnder) was outstanding in the film.

Storyline: In the movie The Girl Who Played with Fire, Lisbeth Salander (Noomi Rapace) was alleged for the murder of two reporters. Mikael Blomkvist (Michael Nykvist) goes beyond every impossibility to save his love from being assassinated for the crime. The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet’s Nest is the sequel of the preceding film. Lisbeth’s trial was further preceded in the court. After she got hospitalized, the only thing Lisbeth wanted was to take her revenge on her evil father, Alexander Zalachenko (Georgi Staykov). The film depicted some great revenge scenes between father and daughter. Mikael, meanwhile, protects Lisbeth from the Rogue elementals (Zalachenko’s men) after she gets discharged from the hospital. Amidst this, Mikael has found the tape in which Lisbeth was tortured and raped by the guardian appointed by the court. This scene was tear-jerking not only for Mikael but for everyone in the audience. The end is bittersweet as the couple reunites and puts all their enemies to justice.
