‘Eternally Yours’ Episode 4 Release Date, Time, Where to Watch, and Preview
The next ‘Eternally Yours’ installment is close, and it arrives with a holiday theme. The “Halloween” episode airs on Thursday, Oct. 29, on the CBS Television Network, which gives the vampire comedy a seasonal hook just as the date approaches. Here is a clear look at the ‘Eternally Yours’ release date, time and where to watch.
The series comes from Joe Port and Joe Wiseman, the executive producers and showrunners behind ‘Ghosts’. It follows a vampire couple in present day Seattle whose once passionate romance has turned into a pulseless marriage after 500 years together. With the Halloween episode next in line, this guide covers the airdate, the schedule, the streaming options and what the coven faces.
‘Eternally Yours’ Release Date for the Halloween Episode
The “Halloween” episode is set for Thursday, Oct. 29, on the CBS Television Network. It follows the Oct. 22 installment titled “The Mistake.” The series has settled into a steady Thursday rhythm since its debut.
As a traditional CBS broadcast comedy, the series releases new episodes weekly rather than all at once, so there is no way to binge ahead. The earlier dates were Oct. 8 for the pilot, Oct. 15 for “Baby Vampire” and Oct. 22 for “The Mistake”. Each week brings one new half hour.
Viewers outside the United States may see a different date. A listing for New Zealand shows the Halloween installment due on Oct. 30 and streaming on Neon. In another report, the creators had not confirmed a UK arrival date, so international fans should check local listings.
The ‘Eternally Yours’ Time Slot on Thursday Nights
The Halloween episode runs from 8.30 to 9.00 p.m. Eastern and Pacific. That corresponds to 7.30 p.m. Central. The schedule has stayed consistent from week to week.
The show occupies the timeslot previously held by ‘Ghosts’. ‘Ghosts’ now moves to the CBS midseason lineup, where it will premiere its sixth season. That leaves the Thursday spot to the new vampire series for the fall.
Each installment is a half hour comedy, which keeps the weekly commitment light. Timing can stretch slightly, since the pilot ran a little past the half hour mark and ended at 9.02 p.m. Viewers watching live should plan around the listed window.
Where to Watch ‘Eternally Yours’ on CBS and Paramount+
The series airs on CBS and streams on Paramount+. Paramount+ Premium plan subscribers can watch live and on demand, while Essential plan subscribers can watch on demand the day after the episode airs. The plan a viewer chooses decides whether the episode arrives in real time.
Anyone with a standard antenna or cable package can also catch the show on CBS at the listed time. Paramount+ can be watched from any device that runs its app, including phones and tablets. That gives viewers several ways to keep up.
For anyone who has not signed up yet, a Paramount+ free trial is one route to watching online at no cost. Outside the United States, New Zealand viewers can stream the series on Neon. Availability elsewhere will depend on local rights.
Preview of the ‘Eternally Yours’ Halloween Episode
According to the official synopsis, Liz is up for a promotion at her teaching job and invites her boss and his wife over for drinks on Halloween. The couple arrive dressed in stereotypical vampire costumes, much to Charles’ annoyance. It is a setup that puts a family of vampires in a room with guests dressed as the very thing they are.
The episode also adds a supernatural threat. The coven fears Max has placed them in danger of a werewolf attack after he inadvertently uses an ancient protective relic as a candy bowl for trick or treaters and it goes missing. The episode was written by Josh Malmuth.
The previous episode laid some groundwork. The coven threw an initiation party for a new vampire and invited prominent members of their community, including Aldrict, played by Jeff Hiller, a troublemaker with a history with Liz. That episode also revealed Jesse’s vampire origin story.
The ensemble includes Ed Weeks, Allegra Edwards, Jaren Lewison, Helen J Shen, Parker Young, Rose Abdoo, Tristan Michael Brown and Shylo Molina. Early reception has been measured but positive. TV Fanatic judged that the pilot set up the premise and characters well, while cautioning that a good pilot can only carry a show so far. A Halloween story built around a missing relic and two oddly costumed guests will show whether the series can keep that momentum, so do you think Max’s candy bowl mistake will cost the coven more than Liz’s promotion, and are her boss and his wife hiding more than a costume?
