After the release of ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania,’ the superhero media world was shocked by allegations against Jonathan Majors, known for his roles as Victor Timely in ‘Loki’ Season 1 and as Kang the Conqueror in ‘Quantumania,’ the next big villain for the MCU’s Multiversal Saga.

Jonathan Majors’ career took a hit after he was arrested in March 2023 for allegedly assaulting a woman he knew, rumored to be his girlfriend. He lost several projects, his manager and PR team resigned, and commercials featuring him were removed.

In December, Jonathan Majors was found guilty, leading to Disney firing him and causing significant changes within the franchise. As a result, ‘Avengers: Kang Dynasty’ is undergoing rebranding, and rumors suggest a replacement for Majors is being sought.

A year after the charges surfaced, Majors has been sentenced. Recently, Judge Michael Gaffey sentenced him to conditional discharge, given the mutual agreement that jail time wasn’t warranted for the charges. As a first-time offender with no prior record, Majors must complete a 52-week, in-person batterer’s intervention program in Los Angeles.

Despite this, Majors’ fans continue to support him, believing he was found guilty on weak evidence, largely blaming the alleged victim, Jabbari, instead.

This likely won’t be the end of it as several weeks ago Jabbari filed yet another lawsuit against Majors in a New York federal court. She alleges assault, battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, malicious prosecution, and defamation. The defamation claim arises from comments Majors made in a ‘Good Morning America’ interview after his conviction, where he denied physically harming a woman. During the trial, Majors’ attorney repeatedly accused Jabbari of lying about her injuries from the March 2023 incident.
