Production of the tenth installment of the Fast & Furious franchise continued after it was temporarily paused due to Justin Lin stepping down from a director’s position only three days after production began. Louis Leterrier, known for directing Transporter 2, The Incredible Hulk, and Now You See Me, was recently announced to step in as a new director.

Charlize Theron already shared the first look at her character Cipher, as well as the first look at Jason Momoa, who will play an unknown villain. Now, in the first on-set videos, shared by the YouTube channel Fast Family, we can see that the movie is currently being filmed in Italy, and Jason Momoa is seen filming a chase scene on a motorbike. Additionally, the same YouTube channel shared another video that shows the movie’s crew as they’re preparing a car for the scene and a chase scene featuring Lamborghini. This isn’t the first time that Lambo will be a part of the Fast & Furious movie. There was one neon orange Lamborghini which Tyrese Gibson drove in the eighth installment. Too bad he forgot snow tires so the car finished at the bottom of the frozen sea.

You can see the mentioned scene down below:

The plot of the movie is currently kept under wraps, but we know that most of the cast from previous movies will return. Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Jordana Brewster, Nathalie Emmanuel, Sung Kang, Michael Rooker, and Charlize Theron are all returning to reprise their roles, while Jason Momoa, Brie Larson, and Daniela Melchior join the cast in undisclosed roles. With a reported budget of $300 million, Fast X is one of the most expensive movies ever.

Co-written by Justin Lin and Dan Mazeau, and directed by Louis Leterrier, Fast X is set to open in theaters on May 19, 2023.
