Fast X: ‘Reacher’ and ‘Titans’ Star Alan Ritchson Joins The Tenth Fast & Furious Installment

The Fast & Furious franchise is known for having its family of cast members that are part of the franchise for a very long time, some of them from the very beginning, but of course, every new installment adds a few new faces, either as allies or as the enemies of the family. So far, we got confirmation that Jason Momoa, Brie Larson, and Daniela Melchior will join the franchise in the upcoming tenth installment, and now, Deadline reports that Alan Ritchson, known for the role in DC series Titans and Amazon series Reacher, also joined the cast of Fast X.
A lot of known names have been or still are a part of the Fast & Furious franchise. Apart from Vin Diesel and the rest of the family, Charlize Theron, Jason Statham, Luke Evans, Gal Gadot, Kurt Russell, Dwayne Johnson, Djimon Hounsou, Nathalie Emmanuel, Ronda Rousey, and others also took or are still taking a part in this long-running franchise.
Also, one interesting fact is that the upcoming tenth installment assembled a lot of Marvel and DC actors: Vin Diesel has been playing Groot in the MCU since 2014, Charlize Theron recently played Clea in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and newcomers in the franchise now include: Aquaman star Jason Momoa, Captain Marvel star Brie Larson, The Suicide Squad star Daniela Melchior, and Titans star Alan Ritchson, who also played the role of Aquaman in the Smallville series. Looks like we’re finally getting Marvel/DC crossover, and its name is — Fast X!
Louis Leterrier, known for directing Transporter 2, The Incredible Hulk, and Now You See Me, is directing the movie after Justin Lin stepped down only a few days after production began. The majority of the cast from previous movies will return, and the screenplay was developed by Justin Lin and Dan Mazeau.
Fast X is the first part of the planned two-part finale of the franchise, it is set to be released on May 19, 2023.
