Fast X: Vin Diesel Shares A Video With Co-Star Alan Ritchson
Fast X finished its fifth week of production, Vin Diesel confirmed in a new video he shared from the set, and in this new video, he was accompanied by Reacher and Titans star Alan Ritchson, who was recently confirmed to join the movie in an undisclosed role.
We can see in the video that Ritchson is wearing a bulletproof vest, which suggests that he’s playing some kind of a government operative, or maybe a mercenary. It’s still not known if Ritchson’s character will be the good guy or the bad guy. Diesel asked his co-star how it feels to join the franchise, and Ritchson didn’t hide his excitement.
Check the video down below:
“It feels pretty good. I was told I was a crackhead John Cena one time. So, to be here, close to John Cena’s brother, it’s a good feeling.” — Alan Ritchson
John Cena played Jakob Toretto, a brother of Vin Diesel Dom Toretto in the latest, ninth movie of the franchise. It’s not known if Cena will return in the upcoming installment. Considering that most of the cast was already confirmed, and Cena wasn’t on that list, it’s uncertain if he’ll return in the tenth installment, but we can presume he might still be back for the eleventh movie, which is set to be a huge finale of the franchise.
Alan Ritchson is best known for playing the titular character in Prime Video’s Reacher series, and Hank Hall/Hawk in the DC series Titans. What’s interesting, Ritchson played Arthur Curry/Aquaman in the DC series Smallville, and Aquaman star Jason Momoa is also in this new Fast & Furious film, as an unknown villain.
Fast X is set to be released on May 19, 2023.
