‘FBI’ Season 9 Episode 3 Release Date, Time, Where to Watch and Preview

The ‘FBI’ episode ‘White Rock’ arrives on CBS on Monday, Oct. 19, and it carries the weight of a storyline the series has been building toward for some time. The hour is scheduled for 8 to 9 PM ET/PT on the CBS Television Network, with streaming available the same night for some Paramount+ subscribers.

The ‘FBI’ episode follows a pair of installments that reset the dynamic inside the New York field office. Maggie Bell has a new partner in Isaiah Green, played by Roland Buck III, while her usual partner Omar Adom “OA” Zidan works undercover. That arrangement is now headed toward a decisive moment.

‘White Rock’ Release Date

The release schedule for the new season lists ‘White Rock’ as the third episode, following ‘Rendition’ on Oct. 5 and ‘Omissions’ on Oct. 12. That places the episode on Oct. 19, one week after the previous installment.

The season began on Monday, October 5, 2026, with the premiere airing at 8 p.m. The weekly Monday schedule has held since then, so viewers can expect no break before this episode.

The previous season ended with a finale on May 18, 2026, and CBS later renewed the series for another year. The long gap between that cliffhanger and the current run makes each new hour feel more consequential for regular viewers.

‘FBI’ Air Time and Schedule

The network lists the broadcast window as 8:00 to 9:00 PM ET/PT. That start time is an hour earlier than the show held last season. Longtime viewers who built their Monday routine around the later slot will need to adjust.

Viewers in the Central time zone should tune in an hour earlier on their clocks, and local stations and sports coverage can shift the start time. Checking local listings before settling in is a sensible precaution.

The spin-off ‘CIA’ follows ‘FBI’ at 9 p.m. The pairing has already produced crossover material this season, with a CIA character appearing in the ‘FBI’ premiere.

Where to Watch the New ‘FBI’ Episode

In the United States, the series airs on CBS every Monday at 8 p.m. The episode also streams on Paramount+, live and on demand for Premium plan subscribers, and on demand the day after it airs for Essential subscribers. The plan a viewer chooses determines whether they watch in real time or a day later.

Canadian viewers can watch on Global, where new episodes air Mondays at 8 p.m. Those without a subscription may also be able to use a Paramount+ free trial when one is offered to new members.

In the United Kingdom, the new season is expected to arrive on Sky and NOW after the season concludes on CBS. Audiences there will wait longer than American viewers, so spoiler caution may be worth practicing.

‘White Rock’ Episode Preview and Plot

The official synopsis says the team pulls out all stops to finally move against Anna Vorpe and her seemingly impervious Strike Team, with Claire Coffee guest starring. Meanwhile, OA struggles with what he has to become to keep his identity hidden and put Anna behind bars for good. The setup suggests the investigation is reaching its closing stretch.

The episode was written by Sabir Pirzada and directed by John Behring. Promotional photos show Missy Peregrym and Roland Buck III together, along with Zeeko Zaki beside Victoria Cartagena as Charlie Martinez, and Terry Serpico as Ernie Carver. The images offer few story details, though they confirm that the main team is involved.

The setup came together in last season’s finale. OA pushed back against orders to move on from Anna Vorpe and her team, and showrunner Mike Weiss later said OA would remain with the series. Weiss also indicated that the team would get a chance to bring Anna and her strike team down this season.

The previous episode showed Maggie balancing her new partnership with her stealth efforts to help OA. That quiet assistance now seems likely to collide with the official operation in ‘White Rock’. Will OA hold his cover long enough for the team to finally take down Anna Vorpe, and how far should Maggie and Isaiah Green be willing to bend the rules to protect him along the way?
