Four Official ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ Clips Have Been Revealed
As the newest MCU movie — Thor: Love and Thunder — is closing in, we are getting more promotional stuff, like always. The Red Carpet Premiere event has been recently held and the first reactions to the movie seem like another fun MCU ride is in front of us. While we are still waiting for the ratings from the critics and the start of the worldwide theatrical distribution, Marvel Studios revealed four official clips for the movie via IGN.
You can check all four clips down below:
All four clips are featuring Chris Hemsworth’s titular God of Thunder, and one of them shows us Natalie Portman’s Jane Foster showing up as Mighty Thor for the first time. One of the clips also shows us Thor trying to call Mjolnir to himself from Jane’s hand, only for Stormbreaker to come to him first.
“Thor embarks on a journey unlike anything he’s ever faced — a quest for inner peace. However, his retirement gets interrupted by Gorr the God Butcher, a galactic killer who seeks the extinction of the gods. To combat the threat, Thor enlists the help of King Valkyrie, Korg, and ex-girlfriend Jane Foster, who — to his surprise — inexplicably wields his magical hammer. Together, they set out on a harrowing cosmic adventure to uncover the mystery of the God Butcher’s vengeance.” — Thor: Love and Thunder, official synopsis
Thor: Love and Thunder is the fourth solo movie for MCU’s God of Thunder, which makes Thor the first MCU hero to get four standalone movies. Chris Hemsworth reprises the role of God of Thunder, Tessa Thompson reprises the role of Valkyrie, and Natalie Portman and Jaimie Alexander return as Jane Foster and Lady Sif, respectively, after being absent from Thor: Ragnarok. Writer and director Taika Waititi also returns as Korg, and The Dark Knight star Christian Bale is starring as the movie’s villain Gorr, the God Butcher.
Written and directed by Taika Waititi, Thor: Love and Thunder will debut in theaters worldwide on July 8, 2022.
