Numerous Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End characters are human, but many have more supernatural origins. The series features a blend of human, elven, dwarven, and demonic characters, and many of the figures age in different ways as a result.

The main Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End characters flaunt natural talents and supernatural abilities, many of which involve magic. Since these abilities are typically based on each character’s species, some characters are more valuable for the personality traits they offer the group as a whole.
