Gotham Knights TV Series: Supernatural Star Misha Collins To Play Harvey Dent

Misha Collins, who played Castiel and several other characters (Jimmy Novak, Himself, Leviathan, Lucifer, and Cosmic Entity) in The CW’s long-running series Supernatural officially joins the pilot episode of Gotham Knights, a DC series which is currently in development. The pilot episode will start production soon, and the network will make a decision if the series will be picked up before The CW Upfronts event in May.

Collins debuted on the Supernatural series as a guest star during Season 4 and was later promoted to a series regular for Season 5 and Season 6 before being demoted again during Season 7 and Season 8 and then he was promoted back to a series regular for Season 9, and he remained a series regular until the series finale in Season 15.

Collins confirmed the casting on his Twitter account. And he revealed that he’ll play Harvey Dent, who is commonly known as the supervillain Two-Face.

Two-Face is one of the most-known Batman villains. Created by Bob Kane and Bill Finger, creators of Batman, the character debuted in 1942. The character was adapted into various forms of other media. Billy Dee Williams played the character in the 1989 film Batman, Tommy Lee Jones played him in the 1995 film Batman Forever, and Aaron Eckhart played Two-Face in the 2008 film The Dark Knight. Nicholas D’Agosto played the character on the Gotham series on FOX.

Gotham Knights TV series has previously cast Navia Ziraili Robinson as Carrie Kelley, Olivia Rose Keegan as Duela, Fallon Smythe as Harper Row, Oscar Morgan as Turner Hayes, and Tyler DiChiara as Cullen Row. The series will not be set in the Arrowverse franchise due to the timeline collision with the Batwoman series.
