GTA 6 Burger Shot Bags Are Selling for Hundreds on eBay After Rockstar’s Miami Takeover
The hype surrounding ‘Grand Theft Auto VI’ has spilled far beyond the screen. With the long-awaited game now less than a month away, Rockstar Games has turned Miami’s Kaseya Center, home of the Miami Heat, into a full-blown Vice City experience for fans attending games at the arena.
The takeover includes some of the franchise’s most recognizable in-game brands. 2 food stands inside the arena have been transformed into real-life versions of Burger Shot and Cluckin’ Bell, complete with themed signage, branded packaging, custom uniforms, and a massive mural of Macca & Friends, the game’s animated alligator mascot.
Unsurprisingly, fans are treating the promotional items like treasure. As Dexerto reported, ‘GTA 6’ Burger Shot bags and cups are being resold for up to $500 on eBay, since the rare merch is only available at the real-life Miami location as part of the game’s marketing.
One eBay listing for a ‘GTA VI’ Burger Shot promotional bag sold for $501 on October 26. GamingBible reported that the auction drew 30 bids, though payment completion has not been independently confirmed.
Another listing for a greasy paper Burger Shot fry bag attracted 14 bids and climbed past $150. Used Burger Shot and Cluckin’ Bell wrappers and paper bags have also sold for upwards of $80.

The resale craze isn’t limited to burger packaging. Used Cluckin’ Bell cups have reportedly drawn bids of up to $400, while other listings have asked between $91 and $200 for cups and around $55 for a fries packet.
Purple “I Love Vice City” foam fingers, reportedly sold for $15 at the arena, have become another hot commodity. Completed eBay sales hit $199 and $405 on October 24, with another report citing a sale of $555. Scarcity is driving the madness. These items only exist inside a single Miami arena, and fans need to attend a Heat home game to get their hands on them.

Most of the franchise’s global fanbase will never set foot in the Kaseya Center, which makes resale sites the only realistic option for collectors. Resell Calendar noted that a used wrapper selling for $80 represents a hefty markup on something that came free with a $28.50 combo meal.
The official activation marks a notable change in approach for the game’s publisher. Back in 2023, Take-Two hit a fan-run Burger Shot and Cluckin’ Bell pop-up in San Diego with a cease and desist, forcing organizers to cancel it.

Now, just 3 years later, the official versions are serving real burgers to basketball fans in Miami. The move shows just how central the game’s fictional brands have become to its real-world marketing.
Fans looking for something less greasy have other options. The Miami Heat Store offers an official Vice City clothing collection featuring 14 items priced between $45 and $110. Rockstar’s own store also sells broader ‘GTA VI’ merchandise, including a $399.99 Goodtime State Vice City Collection Collector’s Box. Still, those retail items lack the exclusivity that has made the arena concessions so valuable.

The resale market offers a striking snapshot of the excitement surrounding the release. When used, fast food packaging can command hundreds of dollars; it’s clear that anticipation for the return to Vice City has reached a fever pitch. As launch day approaches, collectors will likely keep hunting for these limited Miami souvenirs, and resellers will be ready to cash in.
