Hailee Steinfeld Shared The Excitement For Her MCU Future

Hawkeye, the newest Disney+ Marvel show is only one week away. It’s already known that the show will have a perfect balance of Marvel’s veterans and fresh blood.

Jeremy Renner returns as Clint Barton aka Hawkeye, the Avenger who made his MCU debut in the 2011 movie Thor, and only a year later, in The Avengers, he established himself as one of the key MCU characters, although he never got a shot at a solo project until now.

While Renner is already a veteran, the show will also introduce a new main character – Kate Bishop played by Hailee Steinfeld – Barton’s protégé who is set to take the mantle (read: bow and arrow) of Hawkeye for the future of MCU.

It is unknown for now how big of the role Feige planned for Steinfeld in the MCU as the whole, but this show is certainly just the beginning. Kate Bishop is known in Marvel Comics as one of the key members of the Young Avengers, a team that Marvel is most likely building up right now. Steinfeld now shared her excitement for her future at Marvel.

“I mean, listen, this feels so crazy to me right now just sitting here with this group of people. I’m so grateful to be a part of this show in this universe and it’s only the beginning. This show is not even out so I’m looking forward to that day.”

Hawkeye will debut on November 24 with the first two episodes on Disney+. Created by Jonathan Igla, the show is also starring Vera Farmiga, Fra Fee, Tony Dalton, Zahn McClarnon, Brian d’Arcy James, and Alaqua Cox, whose character Echo is set to get her own spin-off show.
