The character was received quite well, and Kate quickly became a fan-favorite MCU character, with fans demanding more. Kate is played by Hailee Steinfeld in the MCU and fans would like to know when and how she will appear in future installments of the fictional universe.

Of course, whenever Steinfeld is talking to the press, Kate Bishop will pop up as a topic, if the interview is long enough. And while fans want to know that is going to happen to Kate and are expecting at least one tease, Steinfeld is not keen on giving any precise answers.

Oh my gosh. See, these get me in trouble, these questions! I wish I could say it all. I wish I knew it all,” she said recently. To be frank, it is highly unlikely that Steinfeld doesn’t know anything at this point, but she’s probably playing coy because she is not allowed to reveal anything. But she definitely loves and respects her character.

“I think one of the greatest parts about being in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is that you yourself are along for the ride, and this is another character that I love so, so, so much and understand, she explained. “I’m so grateful that Kate is a character that is so widely loved. I, as a fan, am so excited to see where she goes and to be a part in any and every way that is in store for her.”

She also praised her Hawkeye co-star, Florence Pugh, whose return as Yelena we’ll be able to see soon in Thunderbolts*. “She’s wonderful. I would do anything to work more with Florence, especially in the Kate and Yelena world. I think we’d have a lot of fun,” she began.

Well, first of all, she is a powerhouse. She came on set — and I experienced this with Dickinson — where it’s not particularly easy for someone to come in as a recurring or a guest starring role in that episode when you have built the foundation, and you’re there every day, and you have your shorthand with people,” she continued, praising Pugh. “And then somebody comes in — in the middle of two projects or right fresh off of another one, whatever it is — and really take their claim and hold their own. And that was no problem for Florence, nor do I think that ever has been or will be. But she is such a force.”

Finally, she praised Pugh’s work ethic as well. “One thing, too, that I learned in the world of TV versus film, things move a lot faster. So Florence came in, and we had these scenes that were very heavy on the dialogue, and so we got right to work with the dynamic and how we could make it sort of flow as best as it could,” she said. “We hit it off immediately, and we just had the best time together.
