The ‘Star Wars’ galaxy has been out in force at L.A. Comic Con this weekend. Hayden Christensen headlined a panel at the event on Friday night, where he shared stories about playing Anakin Skywalker, talked about a possible ‘Jumper’ sequel, and recalled catching a burglar in his home.

Christensen wasn’t the only ‘Ahsoka’ star at the convention. Rosario Dawson, who plays Ahsoka Tano, was also among the event’s big-name guests, giving fans a rare chance to see Anakin and his former Padawan together.

The pair celebrated Halloween in true ‘Star Wars’ fashion. Christensen and Dawson dressed up as Force ghosts, posing together in front of an L.A. Comic Con backdrop in a photo that quickly spread on social media.

Both actors draped sheer blue tulle over their heads and outfits to recreate the glowing blue look of the franchise’s spectral Jedi. Christensen wore a baseball cap and a flannel shirt over a graphic band tee, while Dawson wore an ornate purple gown with gold trim under her own blue veil.

Dawson shared the photo on Instagram with a caption playing on the classic “May the Force be with you” line. Fans loved the simple, do-it-yourself feel of the costumes, with some joking that the stars had pulled off Hollywood-level effects with cheap craft supplies.

The photo also sparked some confusion. CinemaBlend reported that several fans questioned why Dawson was dressed as a Force ghost, since Ahsoka is still alive in the current ‘Star Wars’ timeline.

Some commenters wondered whether the costume was a hint about Ahsoka’s fate, while others asked fans not to share spoilers for the upcoming season. However, Dawson isn’t actually dressed as Ahsoka in the photo, and there’s no evidence it reveals anything about the show.

For Christensen, the costume is a nod to his own history. At the end of ‘Ahsoka’ Season 1, Anakin appeared as a Force ghost watching over Ahsoka on the distant world of Peridea. Fans won’t have to wait much longer to see the duo back in action. ‘Ahsoka’ Season 2 premieres on Disney+ on January 20, 2027, with 8 episodes written by showrunner Dave Filoni.

The new season picks up with Ahsoka and Sabine Wren stranded in another galaxy while Grand Admiral Thrawn returns to lead the remnants of the Empire. The story is set to involve the Mortis gods and build toward a confrontation with Baylan Skoll.

Christensen returns as Anakin, alongside Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Hera Syndulla, Ivanna Sakhno as Shin Hati, and Lars Mikkelsen as Thrawn. Rory McCann joins as Baylan Skoll, taking over the role from the late Ray Stevenson.

Production on the season took place in the United Kingdom, with principal photography running from April to October 2025. Bryce Dallas Howard directed 2 episodes, while Filoni, Jennifer Getzinger and Anders Engström also stepped behind the camera.

With the premiere just a few months away, the Halloween photo has only added to the excitement. Seeing Christensen and Dawson having fun together is a welcome sign of the chemistry fans can expect on screen.

Halloween has brought out plenty of creative celebrity costumes this year. Christensen and Dawson’s take stands out for its simplicity and clever nod to ‘Star Wars’ lore. For fans counting down to ‘Ahsoka’ Season 2, this playful moment is a fun preview of what’s ahead.
