Ever since she started her Hollywood career with the role of Gisele in the Fast & Furious franchise, and her breakthrough with the role of Diana Prince/Wonder Woman, Gal Gadot became one of the most known and most paid stars of modern Hollywood.
She’s currently one of the busiest actresses, and shortly after wrapping the production on Disney’s Snow White live-action remake, in which she’ll play Evil Queen, Gadot continued her work on Netflix’s upcoming spy thriller Heart of Stone, which Netflix hopes to be a start of another franchise.
Last year, Gadot starred in Netflix’s Red Notice alongside Dwayne Johnson and Ryan Reynolds. Despite the mixed to negative reviews, it became the most-watched Netflix original film ever, and Netflix ordered two sequels to complete the trilogy, even though the movie starred three very busy stars and who knows when will those sequels be made. In a meantime, Gadot started production on Heart of Stone, an upcoming spy thriller that Netflix hopes to start one more franchise, and Gadot reportedly already signed a multi-movie contract in case Heart of Stone achieves success as Red Notice did.
Gadot now shared an image from the set, saying they started another week of production, sharing her excitement, and saying that she cannot wait for the audience to watch this film. Gadot will play Rachel Stone, who is described as “the intelligence operative and the only woman who stands between her powerful, global, peace-keeping organization and the loss of its most valuable asset.”
“Starting another intense and fun week on the set of HOS… Can’t wait for all of you to see this amazing film… coming soon :)” — Gal Gadot
Netflix is developing this movie with Skydance Media, and the movie is also starring Jamie Dornan. Tom Harper is helming the project from the script written by Greg Rucka and Allison Schroeder. The movie is in production, and it’s not known when will it be released.
