Heavenly Delusion: Who Is Mimihime?
As fans will know, Heavenly Delusion is a very peculiar manga and anime series. It combines many known elements but still manages to create a uniquely special story that has succeeded in capturing the attention of fans worldwide. Aside from the plot itself, Heavenly Delusion also offers us a series of amazing characters, and in this article, we are going to talk about one of them and explain their role in the story. The character in the spotlight is Mimihime. In this article, we are going to talk about the absent-minded girl we’ve seen at Takahara Academy, who was shown to be a very important character in the Academy part of the story. The article will reveal everything you need to know about Tokio and her role in the story so far.
Mimihime is a major supporting character in the world of Heavenly Delusion. She is a seemingly absent-minded and daydreaming girl and one of the students of Takahara Academy who has a crush on Shiro and is constantly at his side; Shiro also likes her back. Mimihime is not at the center of everything that’s going on in the Academy, but she is nevertheless an important character and someone whose story will be expanded further in the series.
The rest of this article will be about Mimihime and her story in the Heavenly Delusion manga and anime series. We will introduce you to all the facts that are known about the girl while, at the same time, not revealing too many spoilers from the manga, as the anime series has its own mysterious way of evolving, and we want to respect that. Still, if you’re not completely up-to-date with the events that have happened – so far – in the Heavenly Delusion manga, we have to warn you that the article is going to contain spoilers and that you might find out something you do not want to find out, so be careful.
Mimihime always seems like she’s somewhere else
Fans of Heavenly Delusion will know that Takahara Academy is a mysterious and strange place. It is seemingly cut off from the outside world and implies that this is the Heaven the two protagonists seek. Whether that is true or not is something we won’t be revealing to you at this moment, as it is not our intention to spoil everything to you in this article. We suggest you take up the manga because it is really good and has a great storyline. Now, back to Mimihime and her story in the series.
Mimihime is a character we’ve seen in the Takahara Academy portion of the story. She is a young girl with blonde-ish brown hair with either a very distinct haircut or two large, furry ears; her eyes are blue. She always has an absent-minded expression, which is actually quite precise, as she is very absent-minded and can often be seen daydreaming. She has the power of precognition and can use her powers to counter other powers; she also has excellent hearing.
Her story has not been explored in detail so far. Still, we can immediately confirm to you that Mimihime will play a larger role in the plot later on and that her story will have a very sad ending that is thoroughly connected to both the outside world and the story of Maru and Kiruko. As usual, though, we won’t be revealing the connection here so as to not spoil much, but we can tell you that some of you might have already figured out how her story is connected to the story outside of the Academy. Now, back to her in-Academy story.

Mimihime seems to have a special relationship with Shiro, who obviously likes her back but is always cold and introverted, so he doesn’t necessarily react properly to Mimihime’s actions. She doesn’t mind, though, as the relationship between them evolves quite nicely, and it is implied in the series that the two of them actually are a couple, and that they are much like Tokio and Kona in that aspect, although the narrative focus was on the latter two, so we’ve never really seen Mimihime and Shiro in the spotlight.
Still, one night, Shiro received a nude photograph of Mimihime while she was bathing, which aroused him. But, when he wanted to ask her about it the next morning, she said she had no clue what he was talking about; when he tried to show her the photograph, it had been deleted. He then tried to confess his feelings to her, but it came out quite clumsy, and she seemingly did not comprehend it fully.
As the story progresses, Mimihime continues to have visions of the future that will prove vital in understanding the story completely. Still, they are all shrouded in mystery at this moment. She would later has a vision or a dream of herself in a dark cave that seems like an underground tunnel or a destroyed building; she is afraid, but she is then found by a boy who holds her hand and makes her happy. It is implied that the boy is Shiro.
She is, in fact, located at the Academy at the time and is blushing, with a smile, confirming her emotions for Shiro in a very Mimihime-like way. This brings us to the end of her story, i.e., the part we wanted to tell you without revealing too much.
And this is Mimihime’s story from the series. We have to reiterate that this is just a part of her story and that Mimihime is an important character to the series and to understanding what happens later; she also has a close connection to Maru and Kiruko, but we won’t be giving out too many details here, although some fans might have already made the connection.
You must understand, at this point, that Mimihime is very important, that the reasons behind her being in the center of everything will be revealed later, and that they are quite important for both her and the evolution of the plot.
