‘Heavenly Delusion’: Who Is Nata?
As fans will know, Heavenly Delusion is a very peculiar manga and anime series. It combines many known elements but still manages to create a uniquely special story that has captured the attention of fans worldwide. Aside from the plot itself, Heavenly Delusion also offers us a series of amazing characters, and in this article, we will talk about one of them and explain their role in the story. The character in the spotlight is Nata. In this article, we are going to tell you about this subtle, black-haired we’ve seen at Takahara Academy, whose own story wasn’t really that important but who, nevertheless, became an important character in the series. The article will reveal everything you need to know about Nata and her role in the story so far.
Nata is a supporting character from the Heavenly Delusion manga and anime, a female student who appears in the Takahara Academy section of the story. Not much is known about her, except that she is Mako’s best friend from the Academy; she has never received much attention in the manga, but her body would later be used to transplant the Director’s brain. She will later be known as Mikura Manaka.
The rest of this article will be about Nata and her story in the Heavenly Delusion manga and anime series. We will introduce you to all the facts that are known about the subtle girl while, at the same time, not revealing too many spoilers from the manga, as the anime series has its own mysterious way of evolving, and we want to respect that. Still, if you’re not completely up-to-date with the events that have happened – so far – in the Heavenly Delusion manga, we have to warn you that the article is going to contain spoilers and that you might find out something you do not want to find out, so be careful.
Nata is a student at Takahara Academy, but her own story is not as important as the story she was forced into
Fans of the Heavenly Delusion manga and anime will know that Takahara Academy is a mysterious and strange place. It is seemingly cut off from the outside world and implies that this is the Heaven the two protagonists seek.
Whether that is true or not is something we won’t be revealing to you at this moment, as it is not our intention to spoil everything to you in this article. We suggest you take up the manga because it is really good and has a great storyline. Now, back to Nata and her story in the series.
We all know that Takahara Academy was not the largest educational institution in the world, but while it did have a small number of students, not all of them managed to enter the spotlight, as the story was focused on 5-6 important characters, while the rest were only shown in passing and nothing more.
Among them is Nata, a girl with black, wavy hair who was seen during several scenes but whose role in the series’ first season was almost non-existent. And it is true – we don’t really have much to say about her. She was there, she was healthy, and she did not seem to be remarkable at all; she did have a few lines here and there, but she had absolutely no influence on the plot.
We do know that she was good friends with Mako, possibly even best friends, as the two were seen together, but since Mako is the same type of character as Nata – i.e., a character we know nothing about – we cannot really provide you with more details about Nata. So, why is she so important, then?
Well, we won’t be giving you too many details, but the second season of Heavenly Delusion will reveal the connection between Nata, the Director, and Mikura Manaka, the woman who trained Maru and hired Kiruko to take Maru to “Heaven.” The relationship might be obvious now, but if you want all the details, we advise you to look up the manga, as it is a great piece of reading.
And this is Nata’s story from the series, at least part of it, the part we decided to reveal here. As said, this is just a part of her story. Nata has not been featured too much in the series, and due to that fact, most fans actually never thought too much about her, but as it turns out, and we have told you all of that in this article, she was not unimportant and she did play a very important role later on in the series, although not in the way you might imagine.
You must understand, at this point, that Nata is going to be quite important for understanding the plot and that more details behind her being the topic of this article will be revealed later on in the story when the series returns for a second season.
