How to Become a Jonin in Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker?

We already wrote about how to become a Chunin rank in Naruto To Boruto: Shinobi Striker. Of course, Chunin, like in the Naruto anime, is not the best rank for a shinobi. The Jonin rank is the ultimate rank as a shinobi, besides being a Kage. This exclusive rank is really hard to get, and some players struggle with what they need to do to become an ultimate Shinobi. In this article, we will go through what one does need to do to become a Jonin in Naruto To Boruto: Shinobi Striker.
A Jonin rank is obtainable only if you finished all the missions in the VR missions section that are acquired from Hatake Kakashi. These are a lot, and a lot of grinding needs to be done to actually got to that level.
We will present to you what you need to do to obtain Jonin rank, and what missions you need to be aware of before you start playing them. Some of the items that you unlock with getting Jonin rank are not available simply because of additional DLCs and add-ons to the Naruto To Boruto: Shinobi Striker game. We won’t list every single mission this time since there are a lot of them.
What To Do To Become a Jonin Rank In Naruto To Boruto: Shinobi Striker?
Obviously, like in the Naruto anime, a player first must obtain a Chunin rank. With Chunin rank, the player gets missions from D rank, C rank, B rank, and A and S ranks. The last two are the hardest to complete, and some require assistance from other players. All are available at VR Ninjutsu Arena with Hatake Kakashi. This is a huge work because in the first three rank mission groups (D, C, and B) you have around twenty missions to complete, and in A and S ranks you have in total around 15, maybe less.
That is a lot, and most of the players get annoyed when stumbling across missions that are not supposed to be that hard. For example, some missions in rank B gave trouble even to experienced players. The ones like “Perfect Susano’o Showdown”, where you need to defeat Perfect Susano’o form, made some players seek teammates for beating this mission.
Another one is “Protect The Village Gates”. This one is available in multiple different ranks but B ranks, and especially A and S ranks, make this mission by far the most difficult. Essentially you are protecting villages’ gates from creatures that are attacking you in waves, and they hit really hard.
We recommend a group of four players to beat these missions because you will struggle a lot when completing them. Build for “Protect the Village Gates” is the best when it is Ranged type with Super Beast Scroll Bird and Detonating Clay Twin Birds with an Ultimate Jutsu being Kirin.
The best build requires the best solutions and AOE-specific Jutsus are the best for Naruto To Boruto: Shinobi Striker game missions that require killing multiple enemies.
So, after completing all missions, you get a rank of Jonin and get special end credits and an announcement of your rank goes up. After the announcement, you get two more missions. These missions are part of the A rank and S rank groups of missions, called “Ultimate Showdown”, where you need to defeat all enemies. For an online game, Naruto To Boruto: Shinobi Striker game is pretty thorough and difficult, just like the Naruto Anime.
What Perks Do You Get After Getting Jonin Rank In Naruto To Boruto: Shinobi Striker?
As we said in the Chunin article, you get access to exclusive weapons and clothing, and two secret missions in A and S rank that we already mentioned. If you have DLCs as Season passes from 1 to 4, or just packs of individual characters like Madara Uchiha (Six Paths version), you get access to even more perks and more Ninjitsu packs.
Is it worthwhile? It really is – the realization that you got a rank that probably 80 percent of the player base did not get, is priceless. Moreover, the strongest Naruto characters, Uzumaki Naruto and Uchiha Sasuke do not even have a Chunin rank, and you got Jonin? That feeling is even better, and we will take small victories.
After acquiring the Jonin rank, unfortunately, there is not much to do besides fighting it out with or solo against other players. There aren’t any missions besides the two “boss” ones you got to complete to beat the whole game. All in all, in the end, it is a satisfying experience.
