‘Fantastic Four: First Steps’ is one of the most anticipated movies in the MCU, set to release on July 25, 2025. Based on set leaks, everything looks promising so far.

The movie will take place in an alternate reality where the Fantastic Four are already an established team. It’s also expected to feature some of their most famous villains.

The cast for First Steps includes Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm, with Moss-Bachrach using CGI and performance capture for his role.

Julia Garner will play Shalla-Bal, also known as the MCU’s Silver Surfer, while Ralph Ineson will portray Galactus, one of Marvel’s most powerful villains (depending on how you see him). Paul Walter Hauser, John Malkovich, and Natasha Lyonne have been cast in undisclosed roles, and Mole Man is also expected to appear.

We already got our first look at the team when the initial trailer dropped a few weeks ago. Now, industry insider Daniel Richtman has revealed on his Patreon that a new trailer is on the way, and if his report is accurate, it’s going to be an exciting one.

A new Fantastic Four: First Steps trailer is on the way, and it promises some exciting moments. In the trailer, we’ll finally see Reed Richards using his stretching powers. It will also give us a first look at the female version of the Silver Surfer. One of the biggest reveals is that Sue Storm is pregnant.

During a heartfelt moment, Johnny Storm tells his sister she’s going to be the best mom, and he jokingly warns Reed with the line, “You’re not prepared for what’s coming.” The trailer is expected to be around two and a half minutes long and sets the stage for big changes in the Fantastic Four’s journey.

Thanks to set leaks, we already knew that Sue would be pregnant in the movie. Rumors suggest that the team’s battle with Galactus will be deeply personal, as the cosmic villain is said to be targeting young Franklin Richards for a specific reason. This could force the Fantastic Four to either escape or confront Galactus in a climactic showdown by the end of the film.

Johnny’s line about Reed being “unprepared for what’s coming” might be more than just a playful tease — it could be a hint at Galactus’ looming arrival.
