It Is Known When ’Spider-Man: No Way Home’ Will Arrive On Digital, DVD, And Blu-Ray

We will have the luxury of watching the three Spider-Men assemble in the comfort of our own home very soon. It’s been more than two months since the 27th movie set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe — Spider-Man: No Way Home — was released. Despite the pandemic, the movie grossed $1.8 billion worldwide, which makes it the sixth highest-grossing movie of all time, right above 2015’s Jurassic World ($1.6 billion) and below Avengers: Infinity War ($2 billion).
Now, Sony Pictures officially announced that the movie will be available on digital services starting March 22, 2022, and on DVD, 4K UHD, and Blu-ray on April 12, 2022. The first rumors were saying that the movie will be available on digital services starting February 28, but now we know what won’t be the case. Well, if we waited until now, what’s a few more weeks?
Spider-Man: No Way Home received acclaim from fans who called it the ultimate Spider-Man movie, and some people, including director Jon Watts, called it Spider-Man: Endgame. For the first time ever, one movie featured three different movie incarnations of Spider-Man. With MCU’s Spider-Man, played by Tom Holland, Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield also returned to reprise their roles from the original Spider-Man trilogy and The Amazing Spider-Man duology, respectively.
The fans praised the movie’s fan service, not only because of three Spider-Men but also because of all the returning villains from previous Spider-Man movies. Willem Dafoe’s return as Green Goblin Alfred Molina’s as Doctor Octopus and Jamie Foxx’s as Electro was particularly highlighted.
Following the movie’s release, the fans started online campaigns and petitions for Sony and Marvel Studios to make Spider-Man 4 with Tobey Maguire, and The Amazing Spider-Man 3 with Andrew Garfield. Still, Kevin Feige and Amy Pascal confirmed there will be Spider-Man 4 set in the MCU with Tom Holland, although Holland still remains uncertain about his Spider-Man future. Nothing is sure for now, but it’s a fact that Sony and Marvel now have three Spider-Mana actors, on the table, and they might use their potential even more in the future. Who knows, maybe it’s even in the upcoming movie Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
Directed by Jon Watts, Spider-Man: No Way Home is starring Tom Holland, Zendaya, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jacob Batalon, Jon Favreau, Jamie Foxx, Willem Dafoe, Alfred Molina, Benedict Wong, Tony Revolori, Marisa Tomei, Andrew Garfield, and Tobey Maguire.
