James Gunn Confirmed He’s Developing Another DC Project Beside Peacemaker!

Both Marvel and DC fans have something to look forward to from James Gunn. The filmmaker is currently developing two Marvel projects; Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special for Disney+ and the movie Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. Gunn released his first DC film, The Suicide Squad, last summer, and he’s also developing the Peacemaker TV show which will see the light of a day in January next year.
But even with all that he’s working on, Gunn today confirmed on his Twitter account that he’s developing another DC project. What could that be? The Suicide Squad sequel? Some new spin-off? Or something else entirely?
Shortly after the release of The Suicide Squad last August, president of DC Films Walter Hamada said that Gunn will definitely work on more projects for them in the future. And the president of Marvel Studios Kevin Feige encouraged Gunn to work for both houses simultaneously. Back in 2018, Feige even agreed to push the development of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 until Gunn had finished the work on The Suicide Squad.
James Gunn has a lot of work on his hands, and we can’t wait to see what his “horrifyingly beautiful mind” will offer us on both big and small screens in the future.
