Jeep’s ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ Collaboration Just Teased Its Latest Reveal
Marvel’s marketing machine has spent much of the year quietly building one of its more unexpected brand partnerships, pairing Marvel Studios’ biggest upcoming blockbuster with a company known more for off-road capability than superhero spectacle. What started as a patriotic anniversary tie-in has steadily grown into something bigger.
That growth has continued through the summer with a slow drip of teasers and reveals, each one giving fans another small piece of what’s shaping up to be a genuinely extensive promotional campaign. Rather than dumping everything at once, the two brands have opted for a rollout designed to keep fans checking in for the next reveal.
The latest example of that came this weekend when an ‘Avengers: Doomsday‘-themed Jeep was unveiled, offering fans another glimpse of the ongoing Jeep x Marvel collaboration ahead of the film’s December release. The brief clip didn’t reveal extensive new details, but it continued signaling that the two brands are steadily building toward a larger campaign as the film’s release date approaches.
That drip-feed approach fits the pattern set earlier this year, when Jeep and Marvel first unveiled the Jeep Wrangler America250 Edition, a special model built around Captain America’s shield, complete with a matching tire cover and red-white-and-blue styling tied to the vehicle’s Twelve4Twelve anniversary campaign. The partnership leans heavily into the fact that both Jeep and Captain America trace their origins back to 1941, giving the collaboration a shared cultural throughline beyond a typical studio tie-in.
Stellantis’ global chief marketing officer, Olivier François, has previously explained the thinking behind pairing the two brands, noting that the company wanted something more meaningful than surface-level branding. The full campaign has already included a 50-second “Origin Story” video and a follow-up “Original Superheroes” spot showing the Wrangler America250 Edition being airdropped from a military cargo plane, an homage to the Willys MB deployments of World War II.
Disney’s VP of global marketing partnerships and promotions, Holly Frank, has framed the collaboration as a meeting of two brands born from the same cultural moment, with both companies looking to extend that shared legacy into “an epic new era of storytelling” tied to ‘Avengers: Doomsday.’
Whether Jeep vehicles will actually appear on-screen in the film itself remains unconfirmed, with Stellantis executives declining to say either way during press briefings. That mirrors the brand’s history with automotive product placement in blockbuster franchises, following past examples like the Wrangler’s appearance in ‘Jurassic Park’ and Jeep’s marketing tie-ins with ‘Jurassic World: Rebirth’ and ‘Jurassic World: Dominion.’
The broader co-branded campaign is set to expand across Jeep’s full vehicle lineup later this year, supporting ‘Avengers: Doomsday’s’ theatrical release on December 18. With Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans both returning for the film, anticipation for the movie itself has only grown alongside this steady stream of Jeep-related promotional content.
For now, fans will likely keep getting these smaller teasers as the release date approaches, with the full scope of the campaign expected to come into focus as December gets closer.
