The first trailer for “Jackass: Best And Last” has been released, giving fans a look at what is expected to be the final movie in the long-running stunt comedy series. The film is set to come out on June 26 and will close the chapter on a franchise that has been running for more than two decades.

The “Jackass” series first began as a TV show on MTV in the early 2000s. It was created by Johnny Knoxville together with Jeff Tremaine and Spike Jonze. The show featured a group of performers who became known for doing dangerous and often absurd stunts. It quickly gained a large audience because of its bold and unpredictable style.

Over time, the original cast became well known. This included Johnny Knoxville, Steve-O, Chris Pontius, Dave England, Wee Man, Preston Lacy, Bam Margera, and Ryan Dunn, who has since passed away. Their work helped shape the identity of the franchise, which focused on real-life stunts and risky humor.

The series later moved into films. The first movie came out in 2002 and performed strongly at the box office, earning over 79 million dollars worldwide despite a small budget. More films followed, including “Jackass Number Two,” “Jackass 3D,” and “Jackass Forever” in 2022. That last film also introduced newer cast members and earned more than 80 million dollars globally.

The franchise has also produced spin-off projects, including “Bad Grandpa,” and has made over 500 million dollars worldwide across all its releases, based on reported figures tied to the trailer release.

The final film will bring back several familiar faces. Returning cast members include Steve-O, Chris Pontius, Dave England, Wee Man (Jason Acuña), and Preston Lacy. Other performers like Ehren McGhehey, Sean “Poopies” McInerney, Zach Holmes, Jasper, Compston “Dark Shark” Wilson, and Rachel Wolfson are also part of the project.

The trailer suggests one last round of the group’s well-known stunts and challenges, marking the end of a long-running series that has been part of pop culture for years.

It feels like a big moment for fans who followed “Jackass” for a long time. The series has always been about extreme comedy and risky ideas, and ending it now feels like closing a major chapter in entertainment. It will be interesting to see if the final film delivers a strong ending for the franchise. What do you think about “Jackass” ending with this movie? Will you watch it?
