When Chika Fujiwara offers movie tickets to Miyuki, a complex web of romantic intrigue unfolds as Kaguya secretly desires Miyuki to invite her, and misunderstandings arise over a love letter and shared lunches.

2. ‘Kaguya-sama: Love is War?‘, Season 2 (2020)

Kaguya instructs Ai to switch Miyuki’s coffee to decaffeinated, leading him to fall asleep on her shoulder. Later, as the Student Council offers romantic advice, they find themselves incredulously witnessing a couple’s suggestive actions, and amidst birthday preparations, Kaguya attempts to coerce Miyuki into revealing his birth date through horoscopes.

3. ‘Kaguya-sama: Love is War‘ OVA (2021)

Yu wants to talk about his favorite manga getting a third anime season but finds it hard to do so in front of the female members of the student council, as he is a “closet otaku,” which greatly frustrates Miyuki.

4. ‘Kaguya-sama: Love Is War -Ultra Romantic-‘, Season 3 (2022)

Miyuki and Kobachi work to improve the relationship between Yu and Miko, convincing them to overcome their disdain for each other. Meanwhile, Kaguya sends Ai undercover to a karaoke party, leading to a series of events where Ai tries to make Kaguya jealous, culminating in Kaguya taking an exhausted Ai home.

5. ‘The First Kiss That Never Ends’ (2022)

Following the events of the third season, Kaguya Shinomiya accompanies Miyuki Shirogane to America for school, accidentally giving him an “adult kiss” in the process. The next day, as Shirogane anxiously seeks to discuss their relationship, Kaguya transforms into “Little Kaguya,” leading to a dream where her various personalities debate the best course of action while other student council members navigate social events.

Following the finale of season three, the studio announced a new project, and everyone expected it to be the fourth season of the anime. However, it turned out to be a movie.
