‘Kingdom Hearts 4’ Leak May Have Finally Made the Star Wars Dream a Reality

For years, Kingdom Hearts fans have had one question that refuses to go away: will Sora ever visit a Star Wars world? Square Enix has never given a clear answer, but a new leak may have done what the studio wouldn’t. A list of alleged Steam achievements has appeared online, and it seems to point directly to a galaxy far, far away being part of Kingdom Hearts 4.

The reported leak includes names for several worlds that could appear in the upcoming game. Among them is a Star Wars location, which would be one of the biggest crossovers the series has ever attempted. The franchise has already mixed Disney and Pixar properties with its original characters, but adding Star Wars would take that idea to another level.

The theory has been around since Kingdom Hearts 4 was first shown in 2022. One particular part of the early footage became a major talking point because it showed a forest that looked very similar to the setting of the Battle of Endor from Return of the Jedi. Fans immediately started wondering if Sora could be heading to Endor. Square Enix never confirmed the connection, so the idea remained just that: a theory.

Now, the leaked Steam achievement names may have given that theory its strongest evidence yet. While the leak should still be treated carefully until Square Enix officially confirms the details, the appearance of a Star Wars-related world name has naturally sent the fanbase into overdrive. If the information is accurate, something fans have been asking for since the early days of the series could finally happen.

The possible Star Wars world is not the only interesting part of the leak. The reported list also mentions The Haunted Mansion and Zootopia, two Disney properties that have never received their own worlds in a mainline Kingdom Hearts game. Both would fit the series in very different ways, with Zootopia offering a completely new setting and The Haunted Mansion bringing plenty of supernatural material into Sora’s next adventure.

Some familiar locations may also return. The Toy Box from Toy Story, which appeared in Kingdom Hearts 3, is reportedly listed again. The Underworld from Hercules may also come back, giving the game a chance to revisit another location that fans last saw in Kingdom Hearts 2.

There are also a couple of stranger names on the leaked list. One is “Monochrome Origins,” which has led fans to wonder if the game could explore Disney’s early black-and-white cartoons. That would make it somewhat similar to Timeless River from Kingdom Hearts 2. Another is “Imagineer Planet,” which has sparked theories about a possible connection to Disney’s Imagineers and the company’s theme parks.

The leak comes at an interesting time for the game because Square Enix has recently started giving fans more official information. During a Nintendo Direct, the company showed a new trailer for Kingdom Hearts 4 and confirmed that the game will also be released on Nintendo Switch 2. The game is already planned for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

That trailer also gave fans a closer look at Quadratum, the strange city where Sora finds himself after the events of the previous games. The story will launch the new Lost Master Arc after the end of the Dark Seeker Saga, meaning the next game is expected to take the series in a very different direction.

Square Enix has currently given Kingdom Hearts 4 a 2027 release window, but no exact date has been announced. Until the studio confirms the leaked achievement list, fans should take the world names as unconfirmed information. Still, the idea of Sora fighting Heartless alongside Star Wars characters is hard to ignore.

If the leak turns out to be real, Kingdom Hearts 4 could be preparing one of the most surprising Disney crossovers in the franchise’s history. And once Star Wars is on the table, fans are already asking the next obvious question: could Marvel finally be next?
