Leaked ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ NYCC Trailer Teases Action-Packed Return with Netflix-Era Vibes

Daredevil: Born Again is one of the most eagerly awaited MCU projects, fueled by intense fan anticipation and a tumultuous production marked by the SAG-AFTRA strike and creative disagreements between the showrunners and the studio.

At this year’s NYCC, an exclusive trailer was unveiled to attendees, and fortunately for fans, it didn’t take long before it leaked online.

The Daredevil: Born Again teaser has unveiled some thrilling plot points and character confirmations for the first season. It’s officially confirmed that Muse will be the primary villain, while White Tiger is set to appear, confirming earlier rumors from set leaks. Bullseye, on the other hand, will begin the season in prison.

The trailer also teases a fragile truce between Matt Murdock and Kingpin, though it seems destined to collapse. In a surprising tie-in with Ms. Marvel, Kamala Khan’s father, Yusuf Khan, will make an appearance. Additionally, we see Matt reuniting with Frank Castle, a moment foreshadowed by leaked set footage.

The series will see the return of Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock/Daredevil, Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk/Kingpin—now running for mayor of New York City—and Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle/The Punisher.

The series introduces new characters, including Margarita Levieva as Heather Glenn, Michael Gandolfini as Daniel Blade, and Kamar de los Reyes as Hector Ayala/White Tiger. Fan favorites returning to the lineup include Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, and Wilson Bethel as Benjamin “Dex” Poindexter/Bullseye.

For those wondering, this is the same footage that was shown at the D23 event earlier this year.

Daredevil: Born Again is scheduled to premiere on Disney+ on March 4, 2025, with 18 episodes divided into two parts. The series will play a significant role in Phase Five of the MCU.
