Leonardo DiCaprio’s ‘One Battle After Another’ Teaser Just Dropped

I’ve got some cool news for movie fans today. The first teaser for ‘One Battle After Another’, with Leonardo DiCaprio in the lead, is out now, and it’s already got me hooked. Paul Thomas Anderson’s behind this crime thriller, and it’s heading to theaters on September 26. That little sneak peek has me counting the days.
The teaser gives us a quick taste of what’s coming. It’s got DiCaprio fronting a stacked cast—Sean Penn, Regina Hall, Benicio Del Toro, Alana Haim, Teyana Taylor, and Wood Harris all show up. Anderson’s directing and wrote the script, taking a modern stab at Thomas Pynchon’s ‘Vineland’. We’re talking ex-revolutionaries back together after 16 years, chasing down an old foe to save a friend’s daughter.
What I love about this teaser is the vibe. It’s got car chases, some dark laughs, and Sean Penn rocking a buzzcut as a villain called Lockjaw. DiCaprio’s doing his thing, leading the charge, and it feels like Anderson’s mixing his ‘Inherent Vice’ style with a punchier edge. Early word says it’s nearly three hours long, so there’s a lot packed in there.
Warner Bros. isn’t messing around either—they’ve sunk over $140 million into this. They’re even planning IMAX and VistaVision screenings, which tells me it’s going to look massive. The release got pushed from August to fall, likely to make sure it lands just right in theaters.
This teaser’s got me excited, and with DiCaprio and Anderson at the helm, I’m betting it’s going to be a wild one. Check it out if you haven’t yet—it’s worth a watch!
