Few celebrity-brand partnerships run as deep as Margaret Qualley and Chanel. The actor, best known to TV audiences as Jill Garvey in ‘The Leftovers’, made her modeling debut in 2011 at just 16 and walked for the French fashion house again during its Fall/Winter 2012 show.

Since then, Qualley has become a Chanel house ambassador and appeared in numerous campaigns for the label. She starred in the Spring/Summer 2024 Haute Couture short ‘The Button’ alongside Anna Mouglalis and Naomi Campbell, and later appeared with A$AP Rocky in a short film for the Métiers d’art 2026 collection.

Now Qualley is adding another major campaign to that résumé. The actor fronts Chanel’s Holiday 2026 makeup collection, an alpine-inspired lineup built around icy whites, warm browns, rosy pinks and gold.

In the new campaign images, Qualley poses in a cream and black textured jacket with gold earrings, her hair pulled back to highlight glowing skin and flushed cheeks. The result channels a cozy après-ski mood that perfectly suits the season.

The theme for this year’s holiday collection is Winter Village, set amid the snowy landscapes of St. Moritz, Switzerland. Chanel’s makeup creation studio drew on images of snow-dusted chalets, alpine atmosphere, and ski gondolas gliding through the village.

That theme carries into the packaging, too. A limited-edition face powder features an embossed gondola design reminiscent of a ski resort and comes with a seasonal tweed pouch.

The XXL Highlighter in Neige d’Or and the Joues Contraste Intense blush in Mont Rose set the tone for the look Qualley represents. Together, they pair pale luminosity with rosy warmth, while embossed powders and a white textured highlighter sleeve reinforce the winter feel.

For eyes, the Les 4 Ombres palette in Ombre d’Or blends brown, pink, and pale gold shades. Le Liner de Chanel in Éclat Doré adds a brighter golden accent for a festive finishing touch.

Lips get a glossy holiday treatment with Rouge Coco Hydra Gloss in Givré, a frosty clear white, and Étincelle, a golden shimmer. A 3-piece gift set adds an exclusive pink shade called Aura, packaged with a fluffy white drawstring pouch.

Nails round out the palette with Le Vernis in Blanc Alpin, a snowy white, and Scintillance, a gold shade. Chanel’s popular hand cream, La Crème Main, also gets a festive upgrade with a soft knit pouch featuring a gold logo.

Chanel is also offering a lip duo set presented in a limited-edition white mesh-effect bag. It pairs Rouge Coco Baume Satin in 928 Pink Delight with Rouge Coco Flash in 90 Days, combining a hydrating tinted balm with a shinier lip color.

The collection rolls out this month and will be available through Chanel as well as retailers including Macy’s, Nordstrom, Selfridges, Harrods and Ulta Beauty. Like most holiday releases, the products are limited edition, so beauty fans may want to move quickly.

Qualley’s long history with the house makes her an easy choice to lead the campaign. A former dancer who trained at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, she brings a graceful, effortless quality to Chanel’s imagery.

The daughter of actress and model Andie MacDowell, Qualley has grown into one of the brand’s most recognizable faces. Her fresh, glowing look in the holiday campaign shows exactly why Chanel keeps calling on her.
