Finally! God of Thunder is back! After so much waiting and wondering when will Marvel reveal the first footage of the anticipated fourth installment of the Thor saga — Thor: Love and Thunder, they finally did it!
In the first official teaser trailer, we didn’t get much information about the movie’s plot, but we can see how will Thor get back into shape. The trailer also showed us how is he wandering around with Guardians of the Galaxy, and it also revealed the first legit look at Natalie Portman’s Jane Foster, who will wield Mjolnir to become Mighty Thor!

Thor: Love and Thunder was announced at San Diego Comic-Con in July 2019. It was originally set to be released in 2021, but due to you-know-what, it was postponed to July 2022. Chris Hemsworth returns in the titular role for his 9th MCU appearance, Natalie Portman returns as Jane Foster, and Tessa Thompson returns as Valkyrie.
The Dark Knight star Christian Bale will join the MCU as the movie’s villain Gorr, the God Butcher. Taika Waititi, director of Thor: Ragnarok, is back for his second MCU flick.
Thor: Love and Thunder makes God of Thunder the first Marvel hero who will get his fourth standalone movie, and the first movie to feature Jane Foster’s Mighty Thor, the powerful Thor’s female counterpart. Marvel also revealed the official teaser poster for the movie. Check it out below:
