“Captain America: Brave New World” is one of the most highly anticipated movies in the MCU. It will be Anthony Mackie’s first solo film as Captain America and will also introduce Red Hulk, played by Harrison Ford.

Fans are worried because while Steve Rogers had the Super Soldier Serum, Sam Wilson doesn’t have any superpowers or enhanced abilities. This makes it hard to imagine how Sam could defeat Red Hulk in a direct fight.

Mackie recently said that the key to his success will be in the suit, and now Marvel has shared a new look at how the big showdown might go down.

ComicBook has revealed the cover for Sam Wilson: Captain America #2, featuring Sam Wilson fighting Red Hulk. The cover shows Red Hulk throwing a punch while Sam blocks it with his shield. The battle likely takes place near floating platforms, where Red Hulk works as Head of Security.

In the story, Sam gets involved in a new tech venture that seems too good to be true.

Sam Wilson: Captain America, a limited series co-written by Greg Pak and Evan Narcisse with art by Eder Messias, follows Sam as he faces off against Red Hulk in a super spy thriller.

When Sam uncovers a sinister plot hidden behind a tech venture, he’s shocked to discover that Red Hulk is in charge of the company’s security.

After Eaglestar shows its true colors, Sam tangles with their big, red and furious head of security. But another player is about to enter the fray: Josiah X! He’s got a new mission and a new look – but is he there to help Sam or pursue his own agenda?

Greg Pak and Evan Narcisse have loved working together on Sam Wilson: Captain America, with Pak praising their strong creative partnership, while Narcisse promises an exciting, fast-paced adventure that also delves into the theme of being shut out from the American Dream, offering readers an unforgettable journey with Sam.

Pak: Working with Evan on this book has been an absolute dream. We’ve spent hours sharing big ideas, finishing each other’s thoughts, and cackling out loud over the story we’re cooking up. Seeing the pages roll in from Eder has been absolutely mind-blowing

Narcisse: It’s going to be a fun, fast, high-octane adventure that also explores what it means to feel locked out of the American Dream. I feel pretty confident in saying Sam’s never flown through skies like these before

Pak also explains that they’re crafting a story that explores what it means for a Black social worker from Harlem, like Sam, to take on the mantle of Captain America, blending exciting action with important themes. He particularly enjoys how grounded the story feels with characters like Sam’s cousin Billie, while also featuring thrilling aerial moments.

We’re pulling out all the stops to tell a story that matters, that goes deep into what it means for a Black social worker from Harlem to pick up the shield – and put on those wings! – while delivering massive action and thrills in the grand tradition of Marvel super spy science fiction

I particularly love how grounded the book is with characters like Sam’s fast-talking cousin Billie, my new favorite character ever, while taking to the sky in ways you’ve never seen! And yes, that’s a big tease! Don’t you dare miss it!
