Captain America’s Big Win – Or Is It a Flop in Disguise?
Captain America (Franchise)
Captain America is a superhero created by Joe Simon and Jack Kirby appearing in comic books published by Marvel Comics. Captain America was originally designed as a supersoldier who fought the Axis during WWII. He is best recognized for his patriotic American flag-inspired costume. Captain America is among the most famos Marvel superheroes and appeared in various media over the years.
Captain America (Film Series)
Captain America film series features the titular character. It began with Captain America: The First Avenger released in 2011 and the original movie starring Chris Evans. The First Avenger was the fifth movie in the MCU and it was followed by two sequels Captain America: The Winter Soldier released in 2014 and Captain America: Civil War released in 2016. A movie focusing on Sam Wilson, new Captain America in the MCU is in development called ‘Captain America: Brave New World’ and after several delays, it’s scheduled to be released in 2025.
