‘Midnight Sons’ Project Secures Top Talent: ‘Logan’ Writer Tapped to Script According to Reports
Some time ago, rumors spread about Marvel Studios developing the ‘Midnight Sons’ project, reportedly linked to the upcoming ‘Blade’ reboot.
Despite no official confirmation from the studio, there has been ample news surrounding the project.
The latest news, as reported by NexusPoint News, reveals that Michael Green has been hired to write the script for the upcoming supernatural movie set in the MCU.
Green is recognized in the comic book adaptations community for his work on ‘Smallville’ (21 episodes) and ‘Green Lantern.’ He also co-wrote ‘Logan,’ which is highly regarded as one of the best superhero movies ever made.
Green’s involvement in the rumored ‘Midnight Sons’ project isn’t surprising, given his role in writing the troubled ‘Blade’ reboot. The natural link between Blade and Midnight Sons, along with rumors suggesting that Blade will lead into the latter, makes Green a fitting choice.
Recently, rumors surfaced about the potential team members. Likely members include Wong, Moon Knight, Ghost Rider, Blade, Werewolf by Night, and Man-Thing. Other names, ranked from most to least likely, include Black Knight, Scarlet Scarab, Elsa Bloodstone, Dr. Strange, and even Agatha Harkness. The team is expected to consist of 6-9 members.
While not much is known about the project, and it hasn’t been officially confirmed by the studio, insiders claim that it’s in development.
