New Reports Reveal Insane Lineup of Midnight Sons Members in the MCU

A few months ago, there were rumors that Marvel Studios was working on a ‘Midnight Sons’ project, and that the new ‘Blade’ reboot would be connected to it.

The Midnight Sons would feature characters who have never been in ‘The Avengers,’ and Doctor Strange supposedly won’t be part of the team.

Now, Alex Perez from Cosmic Circus shared on his Discord AMA the possible members of the Midnight Sons, along with some frequently mentioned candidates according to his inside sources:

I’ve heard Wong, Moon Knight, Ghost Rider, Blade, Werewolf by Night, & Man-Thing as the most repeated names by sources as part of the team roster. Other names I’ve heard, from most to least likely, include Black Knight, Scarlet Scarab, Elsa Bloodstone, Dr. Strange, and even Agatha Harkness. But if I had to guess how many members I’d expect for this team lineup, I’d say between 6-9 members.

While most of these names aren’t surprising, this means the MCU will need to introduce many new superheroes in the next few phases, even though they plan to slow down and focus on “sure hits.”

Not much is known about the project, and it hasn’t been officially confirmed by the studio, but many insiders say it’s in development. There’s no director yet, but Federico Álvarez is a name that’s come up a lot for the film.

Federico Álvarez is a Uruguayan filmmaker known for movies like ‘Evil Dead’ (2013) and ‘Don’t Breathe’ (2016). He first gained attention for his short film ‘Ataque de pánico!’ (2009). His latest project, ‘Alien: Romulus,’ is currently in post-production. You can see why Álvarez might be a good fit for this project.
