Mikey Madison Swaps Couture Florals for Sharp Navy Tailoring on ‘The Social Reckoning’ Press Tour in Paris

Few stars have stepped back from the spotlight quite as Mikey Madison did after her ‘Anora’ triumph. The Best Actress winner largely avoided events, famously isn’t on social media, and kept a low profile beyond a couple of luxury endorsement deals, which is why her return for ‘The Social Reckoning’ press tour has felt like such a big moment for fans.

The film marks her first big-screen appearance since that Oscar-winning role, and this time she’s leading an Aaron Sorkin movie. Based on the events behind The Wall Street Journal’s 2021 exposé known as the Facebook Files, it stars Madison as Frances Haugen, a young Facebook engineer who enlists reporter Jeff Horwitz, played by Jeremy Allen White, to blow the whistle on the company.

Now Madison has added another standout look to her growing press tour wardrobe. On October 3, new photos of the actress from the film’s press in Paris surfaced online, showing her in a sharp navy ensemble styled by Andrew Mukamal.

The outfit centers on a fitted navy top with short puffed sleeves, a wide collar, and a row of buttons down the front. Its flared, peplum-style hem gives the silhouette a nipped-in waist and a slightly vintage feel.

She paired it with a long, asymmetric skirt in a matching dark tone, finishing the look with sheer black tights and glossy heels. Her long dark hair fell in soft, voluminous waves, and she kept her jewelry delicate with a bracelet and small earrings.

It’s a striking change of pace from her red carpet appearance just days earlier. That makes the tailored outfit feel like a reminder of how wide-ranging her style has been throughout this tour.

Madison’s press run kicked off with a similar focus on structure. On day 1 of press, she wore a brown set featuring a fitted blazer and short skirt, with her hair pulled up and black boots adding an edgy touch.

The red carpet looks have been far more romantic. At the UK gala screening at Curzon Mayfair in London on September 29, she stunned in a butter-yellow strapless gown from Standing Ground’s Fall 2026 couture collection, a surprise choice for observers who had expected Dior.

Dior arrived in Paris instead. At the film’s premiere at Pathé Palace on October 1, she wore a black Dior Spring 2026 Haute Couture gown covered in pink, blue and white floral embroidery, which Red Carpet Fashion Awards praised as a more refined take on the runway version.

Madison serves as a campaign star and ambassador for Tiffany & Co., and she has worn the brand’s jewelry on the carpet in both London and Paris. White has joined her at both premieres as well.

The film’s reception matters a great deal for Madison. ‘The Social Reckoning’ is positioned as a companion piece to ‘The Social Network’, which grossed more than $226 million and earned 8 Oscar nominations, so the bar is set high.

Sorkin has assembled a strong cast around her. Jeremy Strong takes on an older Mark Zuckerberg, replacing Jesse Eisenberg, while Wunmi Mosaku, Betty Gilpin, Billy Magnussen and Bill Burr round out the ensemble.

Madison has said she was drawn to the story of a woman largely unknown to the public who nonetheless took what the actress saw as a courageous step against a powerful company. During the Paris premiere Q&A, she joined White and Sorkin to discuss bringing the real people behind the Facebook Files to the screen.

The R-rated thriller runs 112 minutes and is distributed by Sony Pictures. It opens exclusively in US theaters on October 9, so fans can likely expect a few more fashion moments before the press tour wraps.
