‘My Hero Academia: Vigilantes’ Anime Will Have a Same-Day Simultub Release, Cast Revealed
A spin-off from the main My Hero Academia series, the My Hero Academia: Vigilantes anime series started today, and the fans are very excited. The spin-off series promises us a fresh and original story that will keep us hyped before the anime’s final season premieres later this year.
A lot of information has been revealed about the My Hero Academia: Vigilantes anime, but we still have some news for you as the anime has decided – thanks to Crunchyroll – to follow a popular trend when it comes to the weekly releases.
Namely, as we can confirm, My Hero Academia: Vigilantes will get a same-day simuldub release so fans of anime dubs will be able to enjoy the series on the same day with a 15-minute delay.
As stated, the My Hero Academia: Vigilantes anime started today, on April 7, 2025 and it has been confirmed that the dub will be released on the same day with a 15 minute delay. This is a new trend for Crunchyroll, unlike the previous one, when dubs would usually premiere about a month after the original premiered.
So, who is joining the cast? Crunchyroll has confirmed that the dub will feature the voice talents of Jack Broadbent as Koichi Haimawari, Jason Marnocha as Knuckleduster, Macy Anne Johnson as Pop☆Step, Joshua Waters as Souga Kugizaki, Justin Briner as Izuku Midoriya, Christopher R. Sabat as All Might/Toshinori Yagi, Dave Trosko as Present Mic/Hizashi Yamada, Christopher Wehkamp as Shota Aizawa. Aaron Campbell as No. 6, Kamen Casey as Tokage, Mike Smith as Tochi, Dakota Farnsworth as Kugutsu, with Davon Oliver and Adam Rowe as additional voices.
Zach Bolton will be directing the dub, as well as producing it. Matthew Greenbaum is adapting the English scripts, while Nathanael Harrison joins as the ADR mixer, and Tina Son as the ADR engineer.
So, whether you prefer the sub or dub, you can enjoy both on the same day! The anime will continue airing on a weekly basis every Monday.
