New ‘Captain America: Brave New World’ Commercial Features the Return of Fan-Favorite ‘Ant-Man’ Character
‘Captain America: Brave New World’ is a highly awaited superhero movie that will see Sam Wilson taking on the mantle of Captain America in his first solo installment. It will be the fourth film in the ‘Captain America’ series, continuing from the TV series ‘The Falcon and the Winter Soldier’ (2021).
The film is directed by Julius Onah, who co-wrote the script with Peter Glanz and Matthew Orton. Anthony Mackie stars as Sam Wilson / Captain America, with other actors like Danny Ramirez, Shira Haas, and Harrison Ford also starring.
In the movie, Sam Wilson finds himself involved in an international incident going up against several world powers and the Red Hulk. Several insider reports state that dead Celestial and adamantium will play a central role in the movie as World superpowers are trying to claim it for their own experiments.
The marketing for the movie is slowly starting considering that the movie releases in just a few weeks on February 14th. The latest Tide commercial featuring scenes from the movie also features one of the fan-favorite minor characters from ‘Ant-Man’ franchise – Dale, the Baskin-Robbins manager
Dale played by Gregg Turkington appeared in two installments of the franchise, ‘Ant-Man’ and ‘Quantumania’ which released back in 2023.
In 2015, Dale hired Scott Lang, but fired him after discovering Lang had spent three years in prison for burglary and lied on his job application. Despite this, Dale admitted he admired Lang for the burglary and promised not to report him if Lang stole a smoothie as he left, which Lang did.
In 2026, Dale reconnected with Scott Lang, who was now known as the superhero Ant-Man. Dale invited Lang back to Baskin-Robbins and named him “Employee of the Century,” shaking his hand in front of the paparazzi. A few days later, Dale used his baking skills to make a special ant-shaped cake for Lang’s daughter, Cassie Lang.
Considering that this is just a funny commercial, we don’t know whether Dale will have a role in the upcoming movie.
