New Cast Members Revealed for ‘Captain America: New World Order’
A lot of new information regarding the upcoming MCU projects has been revealed at the recent presentation at the D23 Expo, and some of them were about the cast members of the upcoming projects. Although we didn’t find out who will star in the upcoming Fantastic Four reboot, we got some new information about the upcoming movies Thunderbolts and Captain America: New World Order.
After teaming up in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, many fans expected that Sebastian Stan will also return as Bucky in the upcoming Captain America movie. But now, Marvel Studios announced that Stan will reprise his role in the Thunderbolts movie. However, Captain America 4 will still see some known faces. Tim Blake Nelson, who played Samuel Sterns/Leader in The Incredible Hulk will reprise the role and serve as the main villain of Captain America: New World Order.
Carl Lumbly, who played Isaiah Bradley in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will reprise the role in the upcoming movie, and Danny Ramirez will also return as Joaquin Torres, also known as the new Falcon. The first newcomer announced for the movie is Shira Haas who will play Ruth Bat-Seraph also known as Sabra, who is also the first Israeli character introduced in the MCU.
Malcolm Spellman and Dalan Musson are developing the script, and Julius Onah is set to direct. Onah described the movie as a “paranoid thriller”.
Captain America: New World Order is set to be released on May 3, 2024.
