New Rumor Claims Jesse Plemons Has Been Offered the Villain Role in Shawn Levy’s ‘Star Wars’ Movie

Shawn Levy recently entered cinema history thanks to Deadpool & Wolverine, a record-shattering movie that dominated last year’s box office. And while he’s been quite prolific so far, his next movie could be the one that defines his career in a proper way.
Namely, we know that Levy is working on an untitled Star Wars spin-off movie at this point; the movie is scheduled to be released in 2027.
At this moment, confirmed information about the projects is scarce, which is why there are many rumors swirling around, and in this report, we have the latest casting rumor related to te movie.
As said, nothing much has been revealed about this film so we don’t know in what era it is going to be set and what aspect of the lore it will explore. Nevertheless, Daniel RIchtman brings us a fresh rumor via his Patreon account.
Based on that rumor, Jesse Plemons has been offeret the villain role in the movie. Whether that is going to be a Force user (e.g., a Sith Lord or a rogue Jedi) or an officer-type of character (e.g., Krennic or Phasma) is uknown, and since we don’t know anything about the setting, we cannot speculate.
What we can say is that Plemons has experience playing great villains, as was seen in Breaking Bad and the recently-released Civil War. On top of that, he’s had memorable appearances in Kinds of Kindness, as well as Fargo, so he is definitely an actor who would bring a lot of weight to the movie.
But, until we have some official confirmation, take this with a grain of salt.
